What are the Income Limits??? The incomes listed in the table below represent 100% of the area's median income, which is the maximum to
participate
in any CHT program. **Depending on the funding source, additional
limitations may apply - For example, certain
homes are available only to homebuyers who earn
less than 80% of median income. Call or email us for
additional information.
Where are the homes located? There is only one available home located in northern Sarasota County, purchased and rehabilitated
with NSP2 funding. NSP3 homes will be available this fall, in North
Port and in a small section of the City of Sarasota (see maps). We choose
and rehab homes based upon the interest of our buyers.
Can I really afford to buy a home? If you have regular income that can be verified and are credit-worthy, CHT
can help you to own a home.
THIS SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!!!! WHAT'S THE CATCH???? It is a great opportunity, and, thanks to the Federal Grant Money
brought to Sarasota County by the Office of Housing and Community Development, we are making dreams come true!!!!! The
only "catch" is that, IF you need help buying your dream home, it makes sense to share a portion of the profits
when you sell the house.
